Invoices and hearing recommendations
Dear Pompton Lakes Borough,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Dear Mr. Carson:
The Borough of Pompton Lakes (“Borough”) is in receipt of your Open Public Records Act (“OPRA”) request submitted after business hours on June 16, 2026. The seven business day deadline to respond to your request is June 26, 2026. As such, the Borough is timely responding to your request in accordance with New Jersey law.
Your OPRA request seeks the following:
-All invoices from RJH Law Enforcement Consultants (Raymond Hayducka) to Pompton Lakes from January 1, 2022, to today, June 16, 2026.
-All hearing recommendations/rulings by RJH Law Enforcement Consultants (Raymond Hayducka).
-Resolution(s) hiring RJH Law Enforcement Consultants (Raymond Hayducka).
Please be advised that OPRA allows the records custodian to seek extensions of time pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5i. In light of the Borough’s current work demands and the upcoming holiday week, the Borough requires an additional two weeks (until July 10, 2026) to compile, review, and produce the potentially responsive records in accordance with New Jersey law. The Borough also reserves the right to obtain an additional extension of time if necessary. See Scheeler v. New Jersey Department of Educ., GRC Complaint No. 2014-123 (2016).
