Invoice of Body Camera Purchase in the Police Department

1. Total number of body cameras currently deployed in the police department.
2. Date on which body cameras were deployed to any of the police officers for the first time (year and month).
3. All invoices of body cameras purchases (if body cameras were purchased).
4. Dates of initial body camera assignment for each police officer currently employed.

As to Item #3: All invoices of body cameras purchases (if body cameras were purchased).
- Can you please provide a timeframe for these invoices that you are requesting? For example: "in the last 5 years" or "From 2020 to Present".
- Can you clarify if you are looking for only PAID orders or PAID/OPEN orders?
At this time, the response deadline is put on hold. Once we receive the full clarification, the 7 business day response deadline will begin anew.

Good morning Mr. Kim,
I have not had any response with the clarification requests sent below. You had sent two OPRA's in at the same time and the other provided a timeframe of "January 2020 to September 2023".
I wanted to provide you with a response to this OPRA and we are using the above referenced timeframe for the documents in question. Should you be looking for a different timeframe, please still respond. If I do not hear back from you, I will assume that this timeframe used is correct.
Your OPRA was received on August 31, 2023. Please see the following responses to your request:
1. We have 42 total body cameras.
2. First deployment of body cameras began in January 2017.
3. Please see the attached excel spreadsheet using the timeframe of January 2020 to September 2023 of all paid and open PO's regarding camera purchases.
4. No records responsive. Officers are not permanently assigned a specific camera. Body cameras are assigned every day from a bank.
At this time I will consider this OPRA closed and complete with the response provided above and attached.
