Records requested:
1. Total number of body cameras currently deployed in the police department.
2. Date on which body cameras were deployed to any of the police officers for the first time (year and month).
3. All invoices of body cameras purchases (if body cameras were purchased).
4. Dates of initial body camera assignment for each police officer currently employed.

The Borough Clerk’s Office is timely responding to your OPRA request submitted September 6, 2023. The file number provided to your OPRA request is 2023-332.
Your request requires additional time beyond the seven (7) business days to fulfill due to high volume of records and different departments involved. OPRA allows custodians to seek extensions of time pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5.i.
Your request requires an extension of two (4) weeks to compile, review, redact and produce the potentially responsive records in accordance with New Jersey law. The request is due to audio/video redactions, and notification to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.
