Invoice of Body Camera Purchase in the Police Department
Dear Robbinsville Township,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
1. Total number of body cameras currently deployed in the police department.
2. Date on which body cameras were deployed to any of the police officers for the first time (year and month).
3. All invoices of body cameras purchases (if body cameras were purchased).
4. Dates of initial body camera assignment for each police officer currently employed.

Per your OPRA request, please see below from our police department:
We own 35 body cameras, however 27 are currently deployed because that is
the current number of police officers employed at the time of this email.
Our initial implementation of body cameras took place in April 2017
There is no such document which lists the date an officer was issued a
body camera, therefore, this portion of your request is denied as per NJSA
47:1A-1.1 as no documents were found.
