Office of the City Clerk
Good Morning Mr. Kim,
in regards to your attached OPRA request, the Plainfield Police
Department currently has 147 body worn cameras deployed to our officers.
The Cameras were first put to use in October of 2015.
The dates that the cameras are assigned to officers varies as they
are hired and upon graduation from the police academy.
The Police Department does not maintain the purchase / invoice
information regarding body worn cameras and that information may be
obtained from Plainfield City Hall.
