Insurance agreements for special education matters/fees related to special education matters
Dear South Orange-Maplewood Board of Education,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
All invoices or bills reflecting legal fees incurred by South Orange-Maplewood Board of Education (SOMBOE) (whether such fees were payable by the District or another party such as an insurer), related to claims under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act or other federal law, from January 1, 2018 to July 11, 2019.
All insurance policies covering matters asserting claims under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act or other federal law against SOMBOE filed in the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law from January 1, 2018 to July 11, 2019.
All insurance policies covering matters asserting claims under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act or other federal law against SOMBOE filed in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey from May 1, 2019 to July 11, 2019.
