1. Full roster list of all Waterford Township police officers' names, ranks, corresponding badge numbers, and length of time with the department.
2. Copy(s) of Waterford Township Police Department SOPs/General Orders/Directives/Policies referencing and in regards to the practice of police officers identifying themselves by name and/or badge number to members of the general public when requested, and/or by individuals the police officers make contact with in the course of their duties, when requested by those individuals.
3. Copy(s) of Waterford Township Police Department SOPs/General Orders/Directives/Policies referencing and in regards to the display of name tags, name plates, name patches, badges, and/or badge numbers.
4. Copy(s) of Waterford Township Police Department SOPs/General Orders/Directives/Policies referencing and in regards to the conduct of police officers when engaging/making contact with the public.

Dear requestor:
The Township of Waterford received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA)
request on May 11, 2018. As the official Records Custodian, I also
received your OPRA request on May 11, 2018. As such, the seven (7)
business day deadline to respond to your request is May 22, 2018. This
response to your request is being provided to you on the 6th business day
after the custodian’s receipt of said request.
You requested the following records:
1. Full roster list of all Waterford Township police officers’ names,
ranks, corresponding badge numbers and length of time with the
department.
Attached please find a non-redacted response to this request.
2. Copy(s) of Waterford Township Police Department SOPs/General
Orders/Directives/Policies referencing and in regards to the practice
of police officers identifying themselves by name and/or badge number
to members of the general public when requested, and/or by individuals
the police officers make contact with in the course of their duties,
when requested by those individuals.
I have been informed by our Police Department that Waterford Township does
not have an SOP/General Order/Directive or policy regarding police
officers identifying themselves.
3. Copy(s) of Waterford Township Police Department SOPs/General
Orders/Directives/Policies referencing and in regards to the display
of name tags, name plates, name patches, badges and/or badge numbers.
Attached please find a non-redacted copy of Waterford Township Police
Department SOP #6 – Uniforms, Equipment & Appearance as response to this
request.
4. Copy(s) of Waterford Township Police Department SOPS/General
Orders/Directives/Policies referencing and regards to the conduct of
police officers when engaging/making contact with the public.
I have been informed by our Police Department that Waterford Township does
not have an SOP/General Order/Directive or policy regarding specific
conduct of police officers when engaging/making contact with the public.
Please provide an email response that you have received the attached
records. Thank you.
