Good Morning,
The City Clerk Department received your OPRA request. You should receive an anticipated response by 10/15/2024. ( 7 business days)
Thank you.
Good Evening,
As per the Record Bureau, a police records search for the requested documents revealed a total of 772 police reports (please see attachment). Each one of these reports would have to undergo a careful review and redactions before the office can forward on. Performing this task will undoubtedly create a substantial disruption within the Records Division function as it would require weeks to complete and untold staff hours. For this reason reduce the scope of the request to something more reasonable.
Thank you.
