I am Specifically interested in viewing the well water testing results and any paperwork in regards to any underground oil tanks, but would like all paperwork pertaining to the above address. Thank you!

We received your OPRA today.  Rather than the permitted 7 business days to
respond we answer today, the day of receipt.

Regarding contruction permit histories, the Township makes them available
on line through our website.  In accordance with Rodriguez v. Kean
University, GRC Complaint 2013-69 (March 2014), we are providing you the
link to our website to use the portal [1]www.sdlportal.com.  If you find
you are unable to access the records you requested, please contact our
office. If printing of same is needed, use "landscape" format and reduce
to 80%. Any address in Vernon with a permit history (and the individual
permits with their status as well as FEMA information) will appear on this
portal. The Vernon website is [2]www.vernontwp.com and the building portal
is on the opening page.

 

Further questions regarding specifics on the permit history should be
addressed to our building department directly.  They can be reached at
973-764-4055 ext.2251 or 2254.

We have no separate records regarding environmental issues or oil tanks
but the DEP can be reached at 609-777-3373 for further inquiry and
reference to oil tanks may be on the permit history.

Information on wells and septic is kept by the health department in
Hardyston who can be reached at 973-579-0370.
