Good evening Ms. Yarnal,
The District received your emailed request pursuant to the Open Public
Records Act (“OPRA”) on August 19, 2020. You requested the following:
“Superintendent Attestation Letter; HVAC records; HVAC reports; HVAC
purchase orders.” The District requires clarification regarding your
request. It is presumed that the “Superintendent Attestation Letter” is
related to COVID-19 re-opening; if that is incorrect please clarify. As
for the remaining requests, please define “records” and “reports.”
Further please provide a relevant time frame for the HVAC related requests
and what specific buildings this request is concerning.

6. Any purchase orders for HVAC filters for the past two school years (2018-2019, 2019-2020) until the present day, specifically listing MERV specifications of the filters

Dear Michael Colling,
I have already clarified in my last message. Maybe it did not come through. I would like a copy of the letter of attestation that the Superintendent signs regarding the road back plan that then goes to the county superintendents'offices. Yes your presumption is correct.
I would like a copy of HVAC maintenance records from 2018- current for neeta and nokomis buildings. This means any maintenance done on the HVAC system, as these must be recorded and logged.
I would like a copy of the IAQ study if one was performed for neeta and nokomis buildings. From 2018-present
( Independent Air Quality report/assessment)
I would like a copy of any air filter purchases for 2018-present to view the Merv rating of the filters.

Please accept this communication as the District’s timely response.
1. All purchase requests for HVAC service for the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020
school years
Response: The District’s purchase orders form HVAC
maintenance are attached.
2. "As built" drawings for all HVAC systems district-wide
Response: This portion of your request is denied as not only overbroad and
cumbersome, but under New Jersey Executive Order and Department of
Community Affairs bulletins which prohibit the release of building
specifications for security purposes.
3. HVAC System Commissioning Report
Response: The District’s Commissioner Report is attached.
4. HVAC preventive maintenance schedule district wide
Response: The District’s maintenance schedule is attached
5. HVAC certification of engineer responsible for HVAC system
Response: The District requests additional time to produce
this certification as it comes from a 3rd party vendor. Once the vendor
supplies us with this certification, we will pass it along.
6. Any purchase orders for HVAC filters for the past two school years
(2018-2019, 2019-2020) until the present day, specifically listing MERV
specifications of the filters
Response: The Districts purchase orders for filter purchases
are attached.
7. Superintendent's Attestation Letter submitted to the state re:
reopening of schools.
Response: Request Denied, the District did not submit the
requested letter in the current form.
