How Transparent is Victoria Fisher
Dear Teaneck School District,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Please note this request is for e-mails that Victoria Fisher board member has sent from her e-mail listed on the website; [email address]
According to the government records council generally stated, a “government record” means any record that has been made, maintained, or kept on file in the course of official business, or that has been received in the course of official business. Considering the e-mail is listed on the website as her official e-mail all e-mails to and from that e-mail regarding the school are thus public records.

Dear Melissa Simmons,
Per the request it quantified the dates and the matters being requested. Please refer to the case law as the request was a valid request of e-mails which were on the official e-mail posted on the district website. While other board members used an appropriate e-mail address this one board the member did not. I am not seeking e-mailed per say but a listing per the case law as published. This has been adjudicated as a valid request. The language from the original request is below.
“Please note this request is for e-mails that Victoria Fisher board member has sent from her e-mail listed on the website as documented on the official Teaneck website multiple times.

Hello Mr. Matthews, our technology department has gone through the emails
for Ms. Fisher and we now need our legal counsel to go through them to
redact any private and confidential information, so I would like to
request a three week extension through March 2, 2021 to go through all the
emails and at that time I will be able to release to you the emails.
Thank you for your understanding.
