Dear Ms. Lauer:
No records were found responsive to this request.
In an effort to assist you, while the New Jersey Department of Health receives reports regarding positive influenza tests, hospital data and ICU information is not required to be sent through this mechanism. Local Health Departments are not required to conduct investigations or gather hospital and/or ICU information on individual influenza cases unless they meet specific criteria.
RSV is not a reportable condition in NJ. This condition is generally monitored through data reported by the CDC's National Respiratory and Enteric Virus Surveillance System. You can find more information at the following link:
https://www.cdc.gov/surveillance/nrevss/.... While some laboratories will voluntarily report aggregate positive cases, as above, hospitalizations and ICU information is not reported.
Best,
Dave Sellinger
