Holmdel Police Dispatcher Contract
Dear Holmdel Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Dear Holmdel Township,
I am writing to formally follow up on an OPRA request I submitted to Holmdel Township on December 9, 2025. As of today, nearly one month has passed, and I have not received a response, acknowledgment, or lawful extension of time regarding this request.
Under the New Jersey Open Public Records Act, custodians are required to respond within seven business days unless a valid extension is provided. To date, no such extension or explanation has been communicated to me. Additionally, it is abundantly clear that this request is being overlooked, as OPRA requests submitted after December 9, 2025, have already received responses.
This lack of response raises concern that my request is being ignored rather than delayed due to legitimate processing issues. I respectfully request immediate clarification on the status of my OPRA request and a prompt response in compliance with OPRA requirements.
Please advise as soon as possible. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your response.
Sincerely,
Mike Smith
