Dear Haledon Borough,
Please advise specifically how COVID-19 prevents the Borough from producing the requested records. The closing of the municipal offices due to a pandemic is not a blanket exception to OPRA. Furthermore, it would appear that at least some of the requested records could be produced regardless of any office being closed (for example, records regarding body cameras, PPE policy). Please produce these now overdue records, and to the extent COVID-19 prohibits the Borough from producing other documents, please explain specifically how COVID-19 prohibits the same.
Yours faithfully,
Concerned Citizen
Dear Haledon Borough,

If requested records are not provided, requestor may be required to take legal recourse and seek attorneys' fees and costs incurred in connection with enforcing rights under OPRA. Thank you.
