Welcome to Glen Rock's Weekly Update

Mayor & Council Meeting to be held September 23rd

A virtual work session and public meeting of the Mayor and Council will be held on the September 23rd beginning at 6:30pm.  Information on how to join the meetings can be found here.

Safety Reminders

* Pedestrians & Bicyclists:  Please be mindful of exercising caution when walking and bicycling throughout town.  Some helpful bicycling safety reminders can be found here.

Borough Pet Leash Laws:  Code 74-8 states that dogs must be leashed in public areas, licensed, and owners must clean up solid waste created by their pets. The possible penalties for not adhering to leashing and solid waste laws are a fine not exceeding $1,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days or a period of community service not exceeding 90 days.  The most frequent complaint received by the Borough is of dogs running off leash in the parks and fields, we ask you to remember that dogs must be leashed AT ALL TIMES, IN ANY PUBLIC AREA.  This code is important to the safety, health, and quality of life of all residents, including dog owners, thus we request your cooperation in adhering to it.  Dog Owners wishing to allow their pet to play off leash are welcome to visit the Glen Rock Dog Park located behind the Recycling Center.

Masks Required

Please be reminded that masks are required in all public places:

* Masks are always required when indoors.
* When outdoors, masks are required when 6 foot social distancing can not be met. This includes the Recycling Center and ALL playgrounds (including schools, Memorial Playground, and Children's Park).
* Masks should cover both the mouth AND the nose.
