Dear Miriam Stone,

Please forward this email to Mr. Varady.

Mr. Varady,

Let me advise you that you may not delay or deny a request of all the records solely to request clarification about one specific record, especially if the record in question does not effect the release of the other records, which it does.

With that said, please find below clarification to the following - Identify the specific government record and years for "invoices submitted by any law firm"

- Being requested are all billing records (invoices, bills) received by the Township from all the law firm(s) for all the for services rendered for representing the Township of Clark in the lawsuit filed and subsequent Settlement Agreement with Officers Venezio, Richter and Francisco. Since the lawsuit was filed in 2014 and the Settlement Agreement was executed in 2018, we are requesting said records for the years of 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.

It would be impossible for anyone, unless he/she works for the Township, to know what exact terminology is used by the Township of Clark to define "invoices" received from vendors for rendered services or purchased goods, but the definition of the word in itself is very simple and common.

Yours sincerely,

C.T.C
