Driver's license, social security, and phone numbers are redacted pursuant
to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5(a).
Vehicle plate number is redacted from the affidavit of probable cause, as
a "confidential personal identifier" pursuant to R. 1:38-7(a) and N.J.S.A.
47:1A-9.
Information as to military status is redacted from the arrest report, as a
"confidential personal identifier" pursuant to R. 1:38-7(a) and N.J.S.A.
47:1A-9.
Arrest photo is redacted from the arrest report pursuant to N.J.S.A.
47:1A-9 and Executive Orders 9(e) (Hughes), 69 (Whitman), and 21
(McGreevey).
Juveniles' full names and school have been redacted to protect their
privacy, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1. Juvenile information is
afforded heightened confidentiality under our laws. See, e.g., State in
Interest of A.B., 219 N.J. 542, 548 n.2 (2014). The legitimate public
interest in the attached records is fully realized with redaction of the
juveniles' full names and school. Digital First Media v. Ewing Twp, 462
N.J. Super. 389, 399 (App. Div.), certif. denied, __ N.J. __ (2020).
