Flock camera installation
Dear Brick Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
1. Any and all contracts, agreements, or memoranda of understanding between Brick Township, the Brick Township Police Department, or any other Brick Township agency and Flock Safety, Inc., including all amendments, renewals, and associated exhibits.
2. Any council resolution, ordinance, or purchase order authorizing the procurement of Flock Safety cameras or any automated license plate reader (ALPR) system, including the date of adoption and the names of council members voting.
3. Any engineering review, public works assessment, or installation specification documents related to Flock Safety camera pole installation within Brick Township, including requirements regarding breakaway mounting hardware.
4. A complete list of all approved installation locations for Flock Safety cameras within Brick Township, including street addresses or GPS coordinates.
5. Any correspondence between Brick Township officials or staff and Flock Safety, Inc. regarding installation standards, pole specifications, or site selection on Drum Point Road specifically.
6. Any grant applications or grant awards used to fund the Flock Safety system, including the funding source, amount, and date awarded.
