Firearms Permits
Dear Glen Rock Police Department & Glen Rock Borough,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
Any and all statistics available regarding firearm permits issued in the borough.
-Number of FID's issued/denied between 2018 to current if possible, broken down by year and month; also, the amount of time it took to issue/deny said Firearms Identification
-Number of Pistol Purchase Permits issued/denied between 2018 to current if possible, broken down by year and month; also, the amount of time it took to issue/deny said permit
--Number of Permit To Carry Licenses issued/denied between 2022/ Post Bruen to current if possible, broken down by year and month; also, the amount of time it took to issue/deny said permit
-Any and all emails containing keywords related to PTC/Permit to Carry between borough employees, including members of council and mayor, from 2022/Post Bruen to current. Please do not include any emails between private citizens, but do include employees' personal emails if used.
-Any and all emails, memos, invoices, & policies regarding the spending/use of the borough portion of firearm permitting fees ie; the $150 of the $200 fee for PTC from 2021 to current
-Total amount of monies collected by the borough for Firearms Permits
