Verona received your OPRA request December 13, 2021.  As such, the seven
(7) business day deadline to respond to your request is December 22,
2021.  This response to your request is being provided to you on the 6^th
day of receipt of said request.

Your OPRA request for, "….a list of addresses of residential properties
damaged by fire for the month of November 2021" is denied.

Requests that require the Custodian to conduct research have been deemed
as invalid requests under OPRA. See DeAppolonio v. Borough of Deal
(Monmouth), GRC Complaint No. 2008-82 (September 2009). See also Bent v.
Stafford Police Dep’t, 381 N.J. Super. 30, 37 (App. Div. 2005); New Jersey
Builders Assoc. v. N.J. Council on Affordable Hous., 390 N.J. Super. 166,
180 (App. Div.2007); Schuler v. Borough of Bloomsbury (Hunterdon), GRC
Complaint No. 2007-151 (February 2009). Simply put, the Fire Department
files reports by block and lot, not chronologically.
