The Township of Bloomfield received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA)
Request on December 13, 2021. As such, the seven (7) business day deadline
to respond to your request is December 22, 2021. The response to your
request is being provided to you on the 6^th  business day upon the
Township’s receipt of the request.

Your OPRA request sought the following:

“I respectfully request a list of addresses of residential properties
damaged by fire for the month of November 2021”

The following records are being provided in their entirety and are the
ONLY documents in the Township’s possession responsive to your request:

1.       From the Township’s Fire Department: There are no documents
responsive to your request.

If your request for access to a government record has been denied or
unfulfilled within the seven (7) business days required by law, you have a
right to challenge the decision by the Township of Bloomfield to deny
access. At your option, you may either institute a proceeding in the
Superior Court of New Jersey, or file a complaint with the Government
Records Council (GRC) by completing the Denial of Access Complaint Form.

GRC can also answer other questions about the law. All questions regarding
