RE: Your Open Public Records Act (OPRA) Request
Mr. Barbagli:

In response to your OPRA request made to the County of Gloucester dated March 4, 2022, seeking “… detailed end of call run reports for all incidents that the Minotola fire company was dispatched to during the period June 1, 2021 through March 1, 2022 [and]… audio records and radio transmissions for all incidents that the Minotola fire company was dispatched to during the period June 1, 2021 through March 1, 2022.”; attached please find the following releasable documents responsive to your request as follows:

- OPRA Request -Min 06202103012022.pdf

Note redacted within records pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 privacy exceptions are the names, addresses and phone numbers of callers.

Additionally, please note because of the volume of documents involved and the time required to retrieve, review and redact requested audio records and radio transmissions for exclusionary content, as required under N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1; this part of your request is denied as expansive in scope, with the potential to “substantially disrupt agency operations."

You may wish to narrow your request to more specifically identify your area(s) of interest, i.e., time-frames, type(s) of calls, etc., to reach a more manageable number of calls that will meet your objectives, while limiting production and review of non-essential records, and resubmit such request to this office.

Please understand, however, that it is possible that even with such reduction in the scope of your request, the request could still involve numerous records. Therefore, aside from the question of disruption of agency operations as stated above, the possibility exists that a "special service charge" under OPRA will be necessary, depending on the volume of records and the time and effort required to accommodate the request.

Please advise at your earliest convenience if you are able to narrow your search as outlined above, so I may approximate the time required for fulfillment of your request.

This communication is being transmitted electronically to expedite delivery to you. Please be advised that no further action can be taken unless written clarification is provided.
