Dear Berkeley Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

Stafford Police Department, 381 N.J. Super. 30, 37 (App. Div. 2005).

The cost is $0.05 cents per page ($0.85 total) pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq. and pursuant to Paff v. Twp. of Teaneck (Bergen), GRC Complaint No. 2010-09 (Interim Order dated May 24, 2011) and affirmed by Madlinger vs Berkeley Township GRC Complaint No. 2018-18 and Madlinger vs Berkeley Township GRC Complaint No. 2020-116.
The Township will assume that you do not want to continue with your request if the Township does not receive your payment within five business days of this notice, by March 10, 2026.
If you notify us with an intent to pay, you must provide a date, within 10-day time, we will have the payment by. If we do not have the payment by the date you provide, we will consider the matter closed.
Once Payment of $0.85 is received the Township will release the document.
Payment can be made either:
1. In person Monday through Friday Between 8:30am and 4:00pm cash (exact change), check, or money order
2. Via Mail : Berkeley Township Clerk’s Office, P.O. Box B, Bayville NJ 08721 - Check or Money Order
