Federal Funding Ranney School Accepts
Dear New Jersey Department of Education,

Records requested: Federal Dollars Ranney School has accepted annually over the past 10 years. Please list this information by year. I would like to know how much federal dollars they accept on average.

Good morning,
The Department of Education does not make or maintain a comprehensive list
of grant awards for the Ranney School. Custodians are not required to
create records in response to a request, pursuant to MAG Entertainment,
LLC v. Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control, 375 N.J.Super. 534 (App.
Div. 2005). However, responsive records showing grant awards by year and
grant type are available on the Department's website. See the
instructions below to access the records. Please note the Department of
Education does not make or maintain the requested records for years prior
to 2017. Accordingly, your request for records prior to 2017 is denied.
A receipt indicating same, and that your request has been closed, is
attached.
For Emergency Assistance to Nonpublic Schools the Coronavirus Response and
Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, please follow these steps:
1. Go to [1]Nonpublic School Services.
2. In the blue toolbar, click on the dropdown arrow for Grants.
3. Choose the CRRSA EANS link.
4. Scroll down to the heading for Revised Total Allocation and click on
the link to View the CRRSA EANS Program Revised Total Allocations. An
excel file will open.
For ESEA and IDEA grants, please follow these steps:
1. Go to [2]NJDOE Homeroom.
3. Click on EWEG in the list of applications on the left of the screen.
4. On the logon screen, leave the username, password and county district
fields blank. Click on Public Access.
5. On the next screen, click on GMS Access / Select.
6. Click on the radio button for District Name, enter Tinton Falls in the
text box, and click on Search.
7. Use the dropdown box to select the fiscal year you wish to review.
9. A list of grant applications will show on the next screen. Click on
the Open button to view any application you wish to review. Please note
that different versions of some applications may be available in the
dropdown box in the “revision” column.
10. At the next screen, the application will open. The EWEG application
uses a tab/subtab structure to navigate the application.
