Thank you for providing the information for the county added and omitted payments. I requested all tax payments, including the quarterly taxes due for February 2023, not just the added and omitted taxes that you provided.

Please respond with the information requested when you are able, I hope that this reply clarifies my request. If no 1st quarter 2023 taxes were paid to the county, please let me know.

All payments made to the County of Monmouth for county taxes during the period of 1/1/23 to present.

You sent the added and omitted taxes that were paid, but not the February 2023 quarterly taxes paid to the County of Monmouth. Please consult with your CFO if you need clarification. He or She will understand hopefully. I am also looking for the same parts of the information requested in the original OPRA request, to include the quarterly billing from Monmouth County for taxes due Feb 2023, the vendor history report, etc...

I am sure after you consult your CFO, he or she will let you know that County taxes are collected by your municipality and remitted on Feb 15, May 15, Aug 15 and Nov 15 of each year. The added and omitted taxes for 2022 are remitted to the county on Feb 15 2023 in this example.

You have only provided the added and omitted taxes in this reply, not the Feb 15 quarterly taxes.

If you did not remit the county taxes, you would have a liability on your balance sheet as a payable to the county and incur interest charges by the county. Please consult your CFO for clarification. Your statement in reply is factually incorrect and while I am not trying to get into a battle to seek info via this OPRA, I am just trying to point out that you are not correct in your reply.

From the detail provided, it looks like the tax payment was made after the due date. Part of the original request included all payments to the county.

Please provide the payments that were made as interest payments to the county along with any billing from the county to support the late charges.
