Dear Atlantic County Sheriff's Office,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
1) List(s) of names of people/user names who are/were hidden, blocked, banned or otherwise restricted from the facebook and instagram pages titled “Sheriff Sheffler.”
2. List(s) of any deleted, hidden, blocked, banned or otherwise restricted comments that were on the “Sheriff Scheffler” public facebook and instagram pages for the time period of January 1, 2020 to October 13, 2020
3. Copies of all messages and author's names sent and received on the “Sheriff Scheffler” public facebook and instagram pages for the time period of January 1, 2020 to October 13, 2020
4. Name and rank and/or position title of the person(s) responsible for maintaining any and all “Sheriff Scheffler” public facebook and instagram pages
5. Any emails sent to/from county employee(s) regarding the deleting/removing of content, or the limiting of access to content on any and all social media forums for the time period of January 1, 2020 to October 13, 2020
6. Any e-mails sent to/from Atlantic County Sheriff’s employee(s) which subject or e-mail body content is regarding Archive Social, Facebook, and/or Instagram for the time period of January 1, 2020 to October 13, 2020
*In the absence of Archive Social or another archiving tool that provides reports, please provide screenshots of the banned users lists, hidden/deleted comments, and messages to and from these accounts. If no content exists, please still provide screenshots of the banned users lists, hidden/deleted comments, and messages showing that no content exists in those locations of the public official’s facebook and instagram.
**Note: This request is valid under the case law established by Larkin v. Glen Rock, since the “SHERIFF SCHEFFLER” facebook and instagram accounts both 1) clearly identifies the subject as an elected official 2) is separate and distinct from his personal, friends, and/or family social media accounts 3) the accounts are used for the sole purposes relating to the government officials position and office 4) posts contain shared ideas, answered questions, and interactions with constituents. Any unlawful denial of these records of this public official’s social media accounts or attempts to falsify records/content may result in legal action and/or complaints to the NJ Government Records Council.

Regarding Number 5:
At this time, your request is overly broad and unclear and I am therefore
requesting clarification.
Elcavage v. West Milford Twp. (Passaic), GRC Complaint No. 2009-07 (April
2010): The Council held that “an OPRA request for an e-mail or e-mails
shall therefore focus upon the following four (4) characteristics:
· Content and/or subject
· Specific date or range of dates
· Sender
· Recipient
In accord with MAG, supra, and its progeny, in order to specifically
identify an e-mail, OPRA requests must contain: (1) the content and/or
subject of the e-mail, (2) the specific date or range of dates during
which the e-mail was transmitted or the e-mails were transmitted, and (3)
a valid e-mail request must identify the sender and/or the recipient
thereof.” Id. at 5.
Please identify with reasonable clarity the documents that you are seeking
on or before October 20, 2020.

Dear Atlantic County Sheriff's Office,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Open Public Records Act reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Atlantic County Sheriff's Office's handling of my OPRA request 'Facebook and Instagram'.
Ms. Goloff answered bullet point #6 and advised the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office in an e-mail attached to this request that they were responsible for #1 through #5. To date no responsive documents have been received addressing bullet points #1-5. It appears through review of the e-mails provided by Ms. Goloff that Mr. Tim Reed is responsible for this. These documents are being withheld from a lawful public request and are seriously overdue. Please furnish the requested documentation immediately as prescribed by OPRA laws. Thank you.
