Environmental Records - 68-70 Route 31 North
Dear Hopewell Township (Mercer),
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. EnviroSure is conducting a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (Phase I ESA) at the properties of 68 and 70 Route 31 North (Block 49; Lots 49 and 9), Hopewell Township, Mercer County, NJ. In that regard, we are requesting a search of all files pertaining to the properties. In particular, records pertaining to underground storage tanks (USTs)/oil tanks, monitoring wells, chemical/oil spills and releases, building and demolition permits, and ownership/land-use records. Attached are the Health Department records for 68 Route 31, Block 49, Lot
9 & 70 Route 31, Block 49, Lot 19. These are the Health Department records
only, further documents may be coming from other departments depending on
the scope of the request. These reports are redacted pursuant to N.J.S.A.
47:1A-1.1 for information such as date of birth, unlisted phone number,
SSN, and home address.
If this inquiry is in anticipation of an upcoming real estate transfer,
please be aware of Hopewell Township’s requirements for reviews by both
the Fire Safety and the Health Department. Failure to file applications
in a timely manner may delay your closing.
