Environmental Records - 297 Crescent Boulevard
Dear Brooklawn Borough,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
EnviroSure is conducting a Phase I ESA at 297 Crescent Boulevard (Empire Diner), Brooklawn, Camden County, NJ. In that regard, we are requesting a search of all files pertaining to the property. Especially, underground storage tanks, environmental concerns, building permits, and ownership records. Electronic copies are preferred if available. Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
Derek Grothusen
EnviroSure, Inc.
Please find the attached in response to your OPRA request. These are all the records I have located in my office in regards to what is now the "Empire Diner" block 20 lot 33. My records go back approximately 20 years. When the diner was sold and went under major renovation, the underground storage tanks were removed and you will find the certificate of approval attached. I have also attached the current owners information.
Older documents may be stored at our off-site storage facility. The boxes are stored with block and lot numbers and a brief description. To bring in these boxes will cost about $45.00 per/box. I do not know how many boxes may be involved and they may or may not contain information you are looking for. Please advise, if you require us to continue searching.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Regards,
Maria Schiano Branson
