Dear Bloomfield Township,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.

Requesting current active or pending EMS Contract and Salaries, grades, and other benefits offered for Full time EMTs.
Requesting EMS organization chart information and structure, positions, staff counts for administration and employees (full time and part time).
Requesting the annual number of calls answered in 2021, 2022, and 2023

The Township of Bloomfield received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA)
Request on February 21, 2024. This response to your request is being
provided to you on the 4^th business day after the Township’s receipt of
said request.
Your response is due on March 1, 2024. However your request requires
additional time to fulfill. The Department needs additional time to
compile the information. OPRA allows custodians to seek extensions of
time pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5.i. Specifically, OPRA states that, “the
requestor shall be advised by the custodian when the records can be made
available. If the record is not made available by that time, access shall
be deemed denied.”
Your request requires an extension of time until on or before March 11,
2024.
If your request for access to a government record has been denied or
unfulfilled within the seven (7) business days required by law, you have a
right to challenge the decision by the Township of Bloomfield to deny
access. At your option, you may either institute a proceeding in the
Superior Court of New Jersey, or file a complaint with the Government
Records Council (GRC) by completing the Denial of Access Complaint Form.
