Dear Middlesex County,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:

Please produce the residency requirement to be appointed a Middlesex County Sheriff Officer.

For instsnce according to Civil Service laws one must be a resident to take the test and qualify for appointment for Middlesex County and remain a resident for appointment. If they move out of county they are to notify Civil Service, which is not being done.

Is their a Middlesex County policy regarding this, when it can be proven their was no Middlesex county residence when appointed?
