Dear Weehawken Township,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
I would like to receive as it is my right employee records for two Township employees;
EMPLOYEE #1 Kathleen McMahon
Records requested:
1. Name, title, position, salary, payroll
2. Record, length of service, date of any separation and the reason for such separation, and the amount and type of any pension received.
3. If there are specific qualifications for a public employee’s position or pension.
4. I would also like to obtain general information regarding the public employee’s qualifications.
EMPLOYEE #2 Joann Stepkovich-Guerrini
Name, title, position, salary, payroll
2. Record, length of service, date of any separation and the reason for such separation, and the amount and type of any pension received.

As per my request for items 3 and 4 do i need to submit an opra request to the town manager?
It is my understanding that is information that is publicly available through an OPRA request.

I am writing to request an internal review of Weehawken Township's handling of my OPRA request 'Employee records'.
I did not receive information relating to No. 3 and No. 4 which addressed and specific qualifications and pension.
It is public information and I would like to receive it as requested under the OPRA law which says one may obtain a public employee’s name, title, position, salary, payroll record, length of service, date of any separation and the reason for such separation, and the amount and type of any pension received. If there are specific qualifications for a public employee’s position or pension, you may also obtain general information regarding the public employee’s qualifications.
