Dear Bedminster Township,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I certify under penalty of NJSA 2C:28-3 that I have not been convicted of an indictable offense. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
I'm requesting the following records of any and all employees for the year of 2017. Each employee record should contain: an individual’s name, title, position, salary, payroll record, length of service, date of separation and the reason for such separation, and the amount and type of any pension received.....pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-10.

I would like to amend my OPRA request.
I'm requesting the following records of any and all employees for the year of 2017. Each employee record should contain: an individual’s name, title, position, salary(and longevity pay, overtime pay if applicable), payroll record, length of service, date of separation and the reason for such separation, and the amount and type of any pension received.....pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-10.

In response to the OPRA request received this date below, I give you the following in the attached documents:
1. Payroll records that list employee name, salary, OT, off-duty pay, date of hire
2. 2017 Resolutions that show all current employees, title and salary
I do not have a document that lists all this information together. Bedminster employees do not receive longevity pay. Bedminster does not have a document that shows date of separation or reason for separation (if applicable) or any pension received. However, there will be a notation of "INAC" next to an employee who no longer works for Bedminster.
The attached records are through 10/31/17.

23) Personnel and pension records, except specific information identified as follows:
a. An individual’s name, title, position, salary, payroll record, length of service, date of separation and the reason for such separation, and the amount and type of any pension received,
b. When required to be disclosed by another law, when disclosure is essential to the performance of official duties of a person duly authorized by this State or the United States, or when authorized by an individual in interest.
c. Data contained in information which disclose conformity with specific experiential, educational or medical qualifications required for government employment or for receipt of a public pension, but not including any detailed medical or psychological information.
The above information was taken from the Custodian's Handbook that the Government Records Council provides within the State of New Jersey.

Thank you. I'm discussing this with our attorney.
However, I understand that the information listed in NJSA 47:1A-10 isn't exempt and may be provided under OPRA.
My point is that Bedminster Township doesn't maintain pension compensation records. Those are maintained by the PERS and PFRS Pension Board.
As for date of separation and reason for such separation, I don't have a document that contains this information. If I did, I would release it to you. I'm not required to maintain such a record, to my knowledge.
In 2017, Bedminster had 2 employees retire and 3 employees resign.
