Dear Piscataway Township,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested:

* Any emails/texts between council members, the mayor, and any other public officials present at the 5/14 council meeting to PCTV or concerning the failed zoom/live stream

My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

Jennifer Johnson, Piscataway Township

Mr. Rak,

This OPRA request is NOT denied and was fulfilled on May 29th. I've just resent the fulfillment email.

As has been mentioned to you many times before, Piscataway Township now uses GovPilot to manage our thousands of OPRA requests. You may find that this would be a non-issue if you submitted your OPRA request using the GovPilot submission form, which has been sent to you previously, but can also be found here: https://main.govpilot.com/web/public/503.... We have not had any issues with fulfillment for those who utilize the platform in the three and a half months it has been live.

Best,
Jenn

Dear Jennifer Johnson,

I would use govpilot, but the UI is incredibly user-hostile. There's no tracking of open requests, no remembering answers between requests (my name does not change continuously), it also breaks autocomplete, so I can't just have my browser auto-complete things. Maybe it looks better on your side, but it's not a great experience for the public.

Yours sincerely,

B Rak
