Records requested:
We are requesting all email communications between district superintendent David Roman and Perth Amboy board of education president and board of education Vice President from 2/24/2023 through 3/23/2023. I am requesting all communications surrounding discussions about all school security measures passed on March 9, 2023 in response to the stabbing of Smailyn Jimenez. All discussions surrounding the student walkout in response to the stabbing,all discussions surrounding the parent protests, all discussions about the Perth Amboy federation of teachers, any discussions about citizen A.D Pauro. To be clear I am requesting all email communications between the parties listed above between the dates listed above understanding that discussions around policies already passed can no longer be deliberative. Furthermore the victims name has widely been discussed in the media by the victims father. The victim is no longer anonymous but any discussions surrounding the victim can have his name redacted but main discussions surrounding the incident should be included.
