Please be advised that your OPRA request number 121-2022 is broad with a potentially voluminous response, and will require a significant extension to compile and review responsive records for applicable privilege. To fulfill the request as submitted, I must request an extension of the deadline to respond to Friday, August 5, 2022.
Alternatively, if you are able to narrow down your request to a specific topic or to include only e-mails to specific departments, I should be able to pare down the response time. Please advise how you would like to proceed.

All emails from City Manager Mike Voll to the following department heads, Police Department, Fire Department, Public Works, and Beach Patrol. Also amended as follows is the date range to be from March 1, 2022 through June 21, 2022.
Further l do not agree to the extension to August.

Upon my receipt of the requested e-mails from the Manager's Office, it became obvious that the response to this request is far more voluminous than I anticipated. We're looking at approximately 900 responsive e-mails that must be individually looked through for redactions/sensitive material. I am requesting that you further narrow down the scope of your request so that we can more efficiently provide you a response. Perhaps you can provide me a topic to search for responsive e-mails? Or further narrow the requested date range or departments included? If you are unable to further pare down your request, I will have to ask for a significant extension of the deadline to respond (which I will need to request regardless). Please advise how you would like to proceed.
