Eluding / Pursuits
Dear Rochelle Park Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Dear Amy Kim ,
The Township of Rochelle Park Records Custodian received your Open Public
Records Act (OPRA) request on 4/13/26. The seven (7) business day
deadline to respond to your request is 4/22/26.
Your request sought the following records:
CAD, Incident Detail, and Investigative reports for all incidents coded:
eluding, motor vehicle pursuit, attempt to stop, fail to stop, and
resisting flight from 09/01/2025 to 04/13/2026.
Please be advised, per our Police Department, Our system only uses a code
for "eluding." We do not separately code for "attempt to stop," "fail to
stop," or "resisting by flight." Therefore, that portion of your request
is overly broad.
This response to your request is being provided to you on the 4th day of
the custodian’s receipt of said request. These records are being
transmitted to you via email, as per your request. Your request is now
marked as closed and deemed complete. Should you have any additional
