This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
1) documents or statements sufficient to show the current annual salary of the Mayor and each member of the governing body.
2) documents or statements sufficient to show the salary paid to the Mayor and each member of the governing body during the year 2017.
3) documents or statements sufficient to show all benefits bestowed upon each elected official during the year 2017, including but not limited to health insurance, pension benefits, government vehicles, EZPass/parking permits, stipends/allowances, bonuses, or other perks.
4) documents of statements sufficient to show all benefits bestowed upon each elected official during the year 2018, including but not limited to health insurance, pension benefits, government vehicles, EZPass/parking permits, stipends/allowances, bonuses, or other perks.
5) documents or statements sufficient to show all reimbursement payments made to each elected official during the year 2017.
6) documents or statements sufficient to show all reimbursement payments made to each elected official during the year 2018.

Thank you for your response. I am somewhat confused by the documents received to item #3 of my request. It's not clear to me why I received a "Pay Statement" for Michael Liebowitz only. Further, the page that would show Mayor Tamburro's car/office allowance for 2017 appears to be incomplete. Please clarify.
Additionally, it's not clear from the ordinance provided in response to items #1 and #2 of my request what the current salary is of the elected officials because the ordinance only provides a range. If you could please explain how the range works, as well as clear up the other issues, I would greatly appreciate it.

The reason you were provided a "Pay Statement" for Michael Leibowitz only was because you requested the following:
3. Documents or statement sufficient to show all benefits bestowed upon each elected official during the year 2017, including but not limited to health insurance, pension benefits, government vehicles, EZPass/parking permits, stipends/allowances, bonuses, or other perks.
Mr. Leibowitz was the only one to receive an opt-out check (opt-out of insurance coverage) and the pay statement was the only record that reflected such payment.
I have also re-attached the PDF file previously provided that shows Mayor Tamburro's car/office allowance for 2017 and on the Detail Vendor Activity Report under Vendor Range GERAL010 to GERAL010 there are twelve (12) payments in the amount of $250.00 for a total of $3000.00 for that year. The only council members that were not "complete" for the year 2017 were Councilman Blaise Dipierro, Councilwoman Leslie Koppel, Councilwoman Miriam Cohen and Councilman Leonard Baskin. All four Council members either resigned or began their term within 2017 which is why all four were not paid fully for the year of 2017.
The current salary for each of the elected officials are at the top or maximum amount of their range.
