No I am not saying anything of the sort.

I can only attest to my own feelings on the subject which is 1) we have an outstanding police department and 2) they have been completely selfless in their support to the community despite these trying times.

I grew up in a first responder family. My father was FBI and my grandfather was NYPD. Since you only asked myself and not the other members of the council, I will forward this to them.

Please be more specific if councilwoman Kreibich has spoken out against the GRPD. And I note that you did not include her on this email but instead the entire GRPD.

You are requesting an open dialogue which may be better suited for a town hall type event if you are uncomfortable with asking the question from yourself. I will reach out to public safety chair Mary Barchetto.

As to your bullying I sincerely hope you find resolution. However, this mayor and council is not the appropriate authority to handle such matters.

Just want to be clear with what you are saying.

If that is the case, I respectfully decline for the the following reasons:

1) Per the published “Guidelines for Public Comments at Glen Rock Council Meetings” comments should only be addressed to the Mayor and it also notes that this is a time for comments and not necessarily questions to the Mayor and Council.

2) Precedent has shown the Council regularly discusses “resident emails” as an agenda item. I know I am not the first resident that has emailed regarding this topic and I doubt I will be the last. Many, many residents are appalled by these recent posts. Especially coming on the heels of the amazing GRPD response to the pandemic, the storm, etc.

3) I am currently being bullied and harassed for my stance in support of the police department, among other things, and I don’t feel safe leading this discussion with the Council.
