Egg Harbor City Police Department OPRA Request
Dear Egg Harbor City,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
Arrest reports related to traffic stops including officer narrative from 01/01/2025 to 01/07/2025.

The City of Egg Harbor will need an extension for the records you requested in OPRA #45-2025 on March 14, 2025. The software in the police department is being updated and the update will not be complete until sometime next week. I am requesting an extension until March 28, 2025. If the records are available sooner, I will send them before that date.

Good morning,
Egg Harbor City will need to request another extension for OPRA #45-2025. There is still an issue with the computer system, and IT is trying to resolve it. I was told to inform you the officers narratives for this request are denied, as they are part of the investigation and not releasable. I am requesting an extension to April 4, 2025. If the records are available sooner, I will send.
