Good afternoon,

Please accept this as Rowan's completed response to your July 7, 2023 OPRA request (below) wherein you sought data regarding Ed.D. candidates. As you may know, OPRA requires a response within seven business days, in this case today, July 18, 2023. Below please find Rowan's responses to your questions.

The data below are from all matriculated Ed.D. students whose first enrollment was during or after fall 2008 (200840).

1. Number of Ed.D. candidates enrolled in the Ed.D. program from 2008-present that satisfactorily completed all their coursework requirements, but were not able to graduate due to not defending their dissertation, or unsuccessfully defending their dissertation. 3

2. The longest period a candidate has continuously or intermittently enrolled in the Ed.D. program without being able to earn their doctorate. 12 years

3. The number of Ed.D. candidates from 2008-to present who are considered "All But Dissertation." 110
This is based on Ed.D. students who have enrolled in > 0 credit hours of EDST 24795, and have never applied to graduate (or graduated), and who are within the the 7-year matriculation time-limit policy as of today (see https://confluence.rowan.edu/display/POL... VI. Policy, 2. Time Limits for Degree Programs.

4. The total number of Ed.D. candidates from 2008-present who successfully defended their dissertation and have earned an Ed.D. 281

Thank you for the reply to the OPRA Request on "Ed.D. Completion Rate." However, the response was posted on THIS OPRA request, which was titled "Ed.D. Graduation Rate." This request had a different set of questions that still need to be responded to. Again, these questions are:
