This office received your OPRA request on Thursday, 9/14/2023.  In
response to your request for ‘All applications, with supporting documents
including resumes, submitted to the County in July or August 2022 for the
position of Director of Consumer Affairs’, kindly refer to the attached
redacted record of the successful candidate, as provided by the Ocean
County Director of Employee Relations.  Personal identifying information
has been redacted in accordance with N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.1(17). 

 

Further, in accordance with Executive Order No. 26 (Gov. McGreevey 2002),
Resumes, applications for employment or other information concerning job
applicants are exceptions to OPRA while a recruitment search is ongoing.
The resumes of successful candidates shall be disclosed once the
successful candidate is hired. The resumes of unsuccessful candidates may
be disclosed after the search has been concluded and the position has been
filled, but only where the unsuccessful candidate has consented to such
disclosure.  The Ocean County Director of Employee Relations has advised
that no such record exists for any consent to disclosure any unsuccessful
candidate records.

OPRA:  RIGHT OF APPEAL
