application required

(3) All permit applications made to the Township for moving the
stop sign to a different location - no permit application required

(4) All Township studies/reports/notes concerning any move or
proposed move of the stop sign and any objections thereto -
responsive documents attached

(5) All Township approvals and permits relating to the move or
proposed move of the stop sign - responsive documents attached

(6) All Township engineer certifications pertaining to the move or
proposed move of the stop sign - No certification required for
relocation which meets the requirement of the Federal Highway
Administration Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices

PLEASE NOTE: STOP SIGN INITIAL LOCATION WAS WITHIN MUTCD
GUIDELINES AND THEREFORE MET STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS. STOP SIGN WAS
MOVED FORWARD TO THE GREATEST EXTENT POSSIBLE AS MUTCD NOTES
"...SHALL BE INSTALLED AS CLOSE AS PRACTICAL TO THE
INTERESCTION....". IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE RELOCATION OF THE
STOP SIGN WOULD PROVIDE INCREASED SAFETY FOR BOTH PEDESTRIANS AND
MOTORISTS.

By way of this e-mail, which includes the documents responsive to
your request, we have marked your OPRA request received August 15,
2024, as satisfied and closed.

A copy of the Denial Poster with instructions to applicants who
