As you are aware, I am the Business Administrator for the Galloway
Township Board of Education (the "Board") which conducts and supervises
the schools of the Galloway Township School District (the "District"). As
such, I am in receipt of your OPRA request dated August 12, 2024 which was
sent after business hours and received on August 13, 2024. Your request
sought the following:

d: Any written document in any form: email, handwritten notes, texts,
memos, letters, web entries, frames from electronic transmissions
maintained by the principal at Reeds Rd Elementary School reflecting
Samantha Hackney's complaint that I slept in her class. Any document
reflecting the date of the complaint, and the Aesop website

I am constrained to deny your request as overly broad and burdensome.
Please provide a date range and a "to" "from" "key words" for any e-mails,
text messages, or communications. See Mag Entertainment, LLC v. Division
of Alcoholic Beverage Control. In addition, the District is not in
possession of any complaints by Ms. Hackney.

Please be advised I will require an extension of time to respond to your
request until September 11, 2024. This request is necessary due to the
start of school ad so that I may communicate with the principal and
ascertain if he is possession of any documents responsive to this request
which are not stored on the computer system and already available to me.
OPRA allows for the Records Custodian to advise of the need for an
extension pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A 5i.  Specifically, OPRA states that,
“the requestor shall be advised by the custodian when the record can be
available.  If the record is not made available by that time, access shall
be deemed denied.”
