Documentation on employee behaviour
Dear Hopewell Borough Volunteer Fire Department,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
1. Copy of Bylaws or Standard Operating Proceedures dealing with employee disipline or conduct unbecoming of a member.
2. Any and all executive committee minutes involving Chief Daniel P. Galatro, Jr between January 2023 and Decemeber 2023.
3. Copy of the Whistleblower complaint provided to department by Board of Fire Commissioners referencing Daniel Galatro.
4. Any documentation vetting Chief Daniel Galatro being guilty/not guilty of said whistleblower complaint between the months of January 2023 and December 2023.
5. Emails between President Frank Scalice, Vice President Ali Myers or Board Attorney Casey Acker referencing Daniel Galatro between January 2023 and December 2023.
