Documentation Banning Charity Runs not Benefiting Police Officers

Piscataway Township did not have the information requested.

Dear Piscataway Township,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:

All documentation from the police department banning the operation of escorted vehicular charity runs that originate and/or terminate in the township that do not specifically support the police department and/or it’s officers.

Should there be no such ban, kindly include any and all policies that would apply to this type of event in support of NJAC 39 as specifically held by the municipality.

Examples of such charity runs would included an event such as the “Julia Ride” as seen on News 12 which was recently held in Piscataway.

Yours faithfully,

F.T. Wilkens
