The Reply from our Township Attorney:
If the requestor is seeking municipal court records, they have to request
them from the municipal court as provided under Court Rule 1:38. The
municipal court is an arm of the judiciary and is governed by those rules.

Hello J Alexander,
An timely email was sent to you back to your email address by Mr. Sam
Seaman explaining the PD does not provide (or even house) Municipal Court
records.
We received your request here in the Clerk’s Office, but criminal records,
I believe, and will confirm, are excluded from OPRA.
I am copying in the Township Attorney Ken Fitzsimmons to opine if your
request of the disposition and/or status of the criminal complaint signed
by the TR Police Dept. against Justin T. Lamb in May 2018 for simple
assault is, in fact, disclosable under OPRA rules.
