Disorderly persons complaint, affidavit of probable cause and disposition (20220803-4.txt)

BACKGROUND:
Media reports indicate that Police Chief Joshua M. Moline was charged with simple assault arising out of a March 19, 2022 incident in Woolwich Township. Since I am requesting records that were generated by, or at least filed in, the Woolwich Court, the Borough's inclination might be to tell me to direct my request to the court instead of to the Borough. Even if the requested records originated with a court, the Borough is still obligated to produce them (or deny access to them, if lawful) if they "ha[ve] been received in the course . . . its official business." N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.1.
RECORDS REQUESTED:
1. CDR-1, CDR-2 or other form of complaint issued against Chief Moline.
2. Affidavit of Probable Cause for the same complaint.
3. Judgment of Conviction, Dismissal, or other writing that resolved the complaint.
I will be out of the office starting 8/3/22 and returning 8/8/22. I will
have limited access to my emails while away. If you need assistance during

Woodbury Heights did not have the requested records because the matter was handled by the Gloucester County Prosecutor. The Prosecutor's office provided me with the records in response to a separate request.
