Hello, I am a local journalist conducting an inquiry as to the many Middlesex County Law Enforcement Officers that acquired Disability Parking permits but are required to be physically fit and of sound body and mind.
Is there any county policy on Law Enforcement Officers collecting disability, for instance a federal VA disability award that must be submitted to Civil Service, and working for the county but submit to disability boards that they can not function normally.
I am particularly interested in PTSD award claims where an individual claims it is so severe that it interferes with their normal activities, daily job performance and also their quality of sleep and if there are any required psychological evaluation after the hiring process when said individual is collecting disability from the VA.
