Dear Charlie Kravotil,
The Borough of Middlesex received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA)
request on March 15, 2023. The official Records Custodian, Linda Chismar,
received your OPRA requests on March 15, 2023. As such, the seven (7)
business day deadline to respond to your requests is March 23, 2023. This
response is being provided to you on the same business day after
custodian’s receipt of said request.

1. Under OPRA and the common law right of access, please provide a copy
of your current directory of local authorities, boards, and
commissions (NJSA 40A:9-9.2).
Attached, please find redacted records found on file responsive to your
request. Please be advised that pursuant to: NJSA 40A:9-9.2(b)(3) -
“Address, phone number and email address shall be deemed confidential for
the purposes of P.L.1963, c.73 (C.47:1A-1 et seq.) and P.L.2001, c.404
(C.47:1A-5 et al.).”

Dear Ms. Modica,
The reason given for the redactions made to the record wsd NJSA 40A:9-9.2(b)(3). However, 40A:9-9.2(b) deals with the "one-page form... expressing interest in public service," not the directory that I requested.
Please provide an unredacted record that includes all required information under 40A:9-9.2-2, and be advised that includes the following information for each authority, board, commission:
(a) the name of the authority, board, or commission;
(b) the number of members or positions;
(c) a list of currently appointed members, along with their terms of office;
(d) vacancies;
(e) general frequency of meetings; and
(f) the appointing authority and the enabling statute, ordinance, or resolution.
