Digital BOE Meeting Records
Dear Bridgewater-Raritan Board of Education,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
All digital video records of BRRSD BOE meetings. Including those removed from public view from the official BRRSD YouTube channel.
My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

We are in receipt of your OPRA request on April 6, 2025. As such, the
seven (7) business day deadline to respond to your request is April 15,
2025. This response to your request is being provided to you on the 6th
business day after receipt of your said request.
Your OPRA request sought access to the following:
All digital video records of BRRSD BOE meetings. Including those removed
from public view from the official BRRSD YouTube channel.
Your request requires additional time beyond the seven (7) business days
to fulfill due to the files being archived and additional time needed to
obtain and convert the video files which span several years. OPRA allows
custodians to seek extensions of time pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5.i.
Specifically, OPRA states that, "the requestor shall be advised by the
custodian when the record can be made available. If the record is not
made available by that time, access shall be deemed denied."
Your request requires an extension of time until April 22, 2025.

Mr Cyprian,
In order to respond to your request, due to the size of the video files, I
am attempting to share a Google Drive File with your email address however
it is not recognizing this email address. Can you please provide me with
another email address to share the link with? Another option would be to
download all video files to physical flash drives which would result in a
cost to the requester of approximately $150 for the storage devices.
